Life Ready Academy
Welcome to Life Ready Academy. This 12 month program is designed to provide physiotherapy graduates with the right tools to continue their learning as they begin their careers. The transition from an educational framework to a work environment presents a whole new level of challenges and learning opportunities. By providing key information and support, this program addresses gaps in knowledge raised by senior physiotherapists and physiotherapy graduates themselves. Life Ready Academy is also a useful support tool for those transitioning from hospital to private practice, particularly for those pursuing sports physiotherapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
What are the benefits of Life Ready Academy?
Most courses run in between $800-$1500 in one specific area. But early in your career when you are just starting out, you need time to nail the basics before you dive deeper into specific sections. This course provides fundamental skills, knowledge and real-world application from Head to toe for a fraction of the price for individual courses.
With a strong focus on Clinical reasoning, our program expands on the knowledge base acquired at university to assist with working independently as a physiotherapist, particularly those stepping into private practice roles where they may be a primary contact practitioner.
With Life Ready Academy, new physiotherapists have access to an extensive database of learning content, group classes and 1:1 mentoring.
What will you learn?
The learning structure at Life Ready Academy consists of a pre-reading followed by a face to face practical day and has a strong focus on practical assessment and treatment skills. Students of Life Ready Academy also work through case studies both in a group and individually to solidify the clinical reasoning process.

Who is eligible?
Life Ready Academy is open to anyone who has completed a qualification in physiotherapy, however, this program has been designed to suit those in their first 3 years out of university
